Polka dots and stripes still make a fun statement for the 2012 fall fashion scene. Add a studded handbag and you’ve got a great look. Studs are accenting jackets, pants, accessories and shoes this season,  bringing back the punk/biker retro look of  the 70s and 80s. In 1974 a favorite outfit of mine had studs on the pant seam and matching jacket… it was very cool! Fashion always seems to recycle, incorporating a modern, updated take. Here are a couple of outfits with studded accessories.

Yes – I’m definitely loving this Nine West studded handbag. The plum colored tights coordinate nicely with the dark gold striped Madewell skirt and H&M mittens.

Each of these outfits has a unique flair; it’s a draw as to which is my favorite.  But, I’m leaning toward the second… I really love those tights, and the grey sweater rocks!
