Black and white is perfect for the transition to spring 2013. Combining patterns with black and white accents is all the rage. I’m loving these white Rag and Bone jeans and handsome black striping.
Here’s a retro Audrey Hepburn look. I can just envision this Kate Spade dress on that famous fashion icon!
How are you incorporating black and white into your wardrobe? It’s a classic combination – one which never goes out of style!

I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for spring and warmer weather! Bright colors simply put us in the mood for the season. This emerald scarf with a yellow butterfly pattern brings a smile to my lips. Loving these Acne canary yellow super skinny jeans.
Adding pops of color to a striped skirt is a fun fashion statement for spring.
So, what are you adding to your spring wardrobe? I’m loving all the assorted colored skinny jeans – sherbet and neon colors are great choices to add a bit of spring splash.

Tweed is still in vogue for the spring 2013 fashion scene. Black and white is always a safe color combo and is very chic… as in the following set.
The colored tweed jacket adds a certain panache to the following outfit. Adding a splash of neon color with the Zara black and white heels completes this look.
Tweed has been a popular choice since the days of our First Lady, Jacqueline Kennedy, who wore colored tweed suits and pillbox hats… she was truly a fashion icon!
So, tell me… I’d love to hear your comments. Do you love the new colorful tweeds as I do?

Style is all about what makes you feel good. The following two sets are completely opposite in their styles. I’m certain that you will prefer one over the other… I do. If you’re looking to brighten up the doldrums of winter with the bright green and canary yellow accents, shown here with long black leather gloves… no they’re not for proms or coming out parties, but rather quite in vogue today.
Or you may prefer the not-so-dull browns in the following outfit. I’m personally coveting this pair of Sorel winter boots!
Whichever you personally feel comfortable wearing is the choice you should always go for. Fashion, to me, is all about what looks good and feels good on you. Don’t ever feel obliged to wear something that feels completely foreign to you. However, if you are a bit adventurous, as I have been known to be, you can always try something new… as long as it doesn’t hurt your pocketbook!
So, I’d love to hear back… which would be your choice or would you be comfortable wearing both?
