how to wear a head scarf

… and that’s a wrap!

I swim; it’s my exercise of choice. When you’ve got places to go, people to meet – and there’s just no time left for the hair, how about trying a scarf wrap? I wanted a change from the usual throw-on-the-hat look. This is fast, simple and since my hair is short, I tuck it all into the scarf and I’m ready to go. If you have long hair, this would look cute with a messy updo! I met HB for lunch and our server played some 1940s retro music…  I wanted to get out of my seat, swing and begin installing rivets on B-17s!

To make this wrap, take a large square scarf and fold one end over, then the other (you want to have a wide rectangle).

Fold the scarf again, until it is about 5-6 inches wide.

Place the middle of the scarf on the nape of your neck, pulling the ends up over your ears, above your head.

Tie the two ends together.

Then tie once again, making a double knot at the top of your head.

Tuck the ends of the scarf under the wrap, so you can just barely see them
