I don’t know how you feel about change, but I’m not very comfortable with it. Take for instance my Hamilton Beach hand-held electric beater. I’ve been using this for a very long time. HB decided it was time for a Bosch machine. What’s an old fashioned girl to do? I know… most amateur chefs or bakers would be jumping up and down and doing cartwheels to get a Bosch. Is something wrong with me? I like my old ways of mixing, even using a wooden spoon when making Toll House cookies. That’s right… I. Use. A. Spoon. Okay… so, does that right there define me as a non-chef?

Which would you prefer for finely chopped nuts? This lovely Cuisinart (as HB always uses) or…
… this hand held baby chopper? That’s right. I use this all of the time because it gets my almonds perfectly chopped!
