The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. Not because of the parades (although, those are lots of fun)… not because of the picnics (although, they’re fun and delicious). Not even because of the fireworks (although not so fun here in the West where the fire danger is everpresent). We have a majestic country, a land filled with diverse geography and cultures. Those of us celebrating our country’s liberty this Wednesday come from all parts of the world. We have the freedom to choose what we wish to believe in… AND that’s why I love the 4th of July!
